#BartlettStreetQuarter

Our premises are nestled near Bath's famous Assembly Rooms, just off George Street / A4.

"Bartlett Street has always been my favourite street in Bath, and I was hunting for a shop here for years. It is a historic, pedestrianised cut-through, used by artisans and artists for nearly 300 years since its start as farmland in the 1700s. Four of England's greatest 18thC artists lived in the streets directly surrounding ours: Sir Thomas Lawrence, Thomas Gainsborough, Joseph Wright and William Hoare. I like to imagine them nipping down our street on their errands in town as we do today." Lucy.

Referred to as 'Upper Town' during the Georgian period, our street is now home to everything of quality you could need during a trip to Bath. The plethora of independent businesses which occupy the stretch between the Assembly Rooms and George Street include great restaurants, cafes and sushi, hair and beauty salons, fashion boutiques, art galleries, yoga and dance studios and our famous, local French bakery, Bertinet.
